Laying children down can be a serious challenge for parents. It’s not enough that babies can’t close their eyes all night because of it, but older kids can also be hard to control in bed.
However, this mother, who has nine children under the age of 10, has perfected her evening bedtime routine and even has time to read it to the little ones. Chloe Dunstan, 29, and her husband, Rohan, are the parents of nine children from Perth, Australia – including triplets and twins.
It’s a serious challenge for Chloe to deal with all nine of her children at once, but everyday routines like going to bed in the evening have become easier over the years. As bedtime approaches, the children gather their toys while their mother prepares dinner.
While the older kids are eating, Chloe feeds the younger ones, who can’t yet eat alone. Bathing is followed by dinner – the older kids take a bath one after the other, and Chloe takes a bath.
Chloe and Ro have children Evan, Otto, and Felix; triplets Rufus, Henry, and Pearl; twins Cosmo and Sylvie; and the family’s newest member, Birdie. The family has their own YouTube channel called Life With Beans, where they also showcase various fun activities and everyday things like their evening routine.
Their ninth child, Birdie, was born on March 16, 2022, and Chloe also shared the good news on Instagram.
“We are very happy to announce that our dear little girl finally arrived in the world yesterday morning. He is now resting at home with his eight brothers. Thank you for your greetings. We love him so much. We feel in the seventh heaven,” the happy mother wrote.
Chloe shared a video of the evening routine on YouTube on January 14, 2021, which has been watched by nearly 3 million since then. There are only 8 kids left in this video, as Birdie wasn’t born at the time. The youngest at the time were the twins Cosmo and Sylvie.
After the kids have all taken a bath, they dress in the same pajamas, and before bed they huddle a little next to their youngest siblings, and Chloe reads them a story.
After the tale, it is time to go to bed. The three older boys can still read a little before falling asleep, but the triplets are immediately wrapped up by their mother. Since the twins were still very small when the video was made, it took a little longer to put them to sleep, but Chloe eventually put them in their crib as well.
After Birdie was born, the formula must have gotten even more complicated, but Chloe and Ro are probably still doing great.
